Work Experience

Godlan, Inc. (Remote) Clinton Township, MI

CPQ Solutions Consultant (November, 2017 – Present)

By joining one of Infor’s most industrious channel partners in 2017, I have been able to continue working with Infor’s CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote) software. This has been an excellent move for me since I have been able to develop valuable knowledge of Cloud Suite Industrial (CSI), not only from the standpoint of CPQ, but also working with the CSI modules and learning to do development in Mongoose, CSI’s development environment. I’ve had excellent integration experiences with customers who are boat manufacturers, suppliers of specialty trucks, refrigeration customers as well as aerospace engineering companies. As I work with these unique customers and industries, I’ve enjoyed the exposure to different types of products, their complexities, and the unique ways in which companies require configuration software in order to sell their products.

Infor Global Systems, (Remote) Columbus, OH

Senior ICS Consultant (November, 2014 – November, 2017)

Infor’s CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote) software integrates with nearly every ERP, and I have had the opportunity to work with medium-sized companies like Anchor Industries, a leading producer of pool covers. Anchor is integrated with AX 2012, and CPQ 8.1. Initially unhappy with their implementation and stalled, I was able to flip this into a successful endeavor, with Anchor returning for additional contracts this year. Beginning in early 2016, I began working with Herman Miller. Although a return customer to Infor, with their SyteLine and BaaN implementations, their initial $2M contract to implement CPQ was one of our biggest CPQ wins in recent years. The first stage was with their subsidiary, Nemschoff, a leading producer of health-care furniture. I led the solution design under the direction of Herman Miller’s architects, as well as the implementation; my team was comprised of Infor offshore resources. Nemshoff went live in February, and I have since been working on the Herman Miller implementation of CPQ, for their seating module.

Chrome River Technologies, Los Angeles, CA

Project Manager and Configuration Consultant (April, 2012 – November, 2014)

I have the best of both worlds in my current role as a technical project manager. I’ve written business rules for nearly all of our clients at one time or another, using the Drools business rule management system and MYSQL. Lately I focus on 5-15 clients’ implementations of our Expense, Invoice and eInvoice products. Configuration of clients’ SaaS implementations involves design and development of data feeds for customer meta data; my strong understanding of system integration design, and the ability to innovate on the fly! Since our Chrome River product line is easily adaptable I have worked on integrations involving Elite Financials, 3E, Blackbaud and Quickbooks. No two implementations are alike and all of them need to be completed quickly and efficiently.

Design, develop and deliver. Whether in SAP Supply Chain modules or Microsoft development platforms, Samantha has demonstrated ability to learn on the fly, design and develop under pressure and deliver with excellence. She has a history of mentoring others as she learns, translating technical best-practices into practical deliverables. After completing an extensive deployment of SharePoint using Windows Workflow Foundations and SQL Reporting Services 2008 earlier in the year, Samantha’s most recent undertaking is to scrum-lead the design and development of an operational data store (ODS) using SQL 2008 which will integrate $4B manufacturing Mills legacy systems with the enterprise SAP: extensive ETL using SSIS, OLAP, SAP iDocs and simplified user interfaces will be implemented. After taking advantage of approximately 40 hours of Microsoft Consulting services, Samantha has configured the TFS 2010 Build Server to deploy the Mills database in multiple environments. The onshore and offshore team has taken advantage of Microsoft TFS 2010 using Agile methodologies to facilitate this 4,000 hour effort.

Samantha’s projects utilize a full-scale test scope to include unit testing, integration testing, and UAT efforts. Deliver requirements, design, test plan, and implementation plan documents for all production implementations by each initiative’s project plan dates and in alignment with actual system configuration and code. Deliver on-call support by responding to and resolving help desk cases. Identify business and technical solutions, as appropriate, to meet customer requirements. Led cross-organization effort to resolve technical issues impacting revenue and go-live dates.
